Modded A20 v modded A60

I am fortunate enough to own 2 A20 & 1 A60 (all used prior to my ownership)
The A60 is older- pre Acrylic Casing but still sounds wonderful. It has had several components replaced staying to original spec as possible. The flying interconnect leads were replaced with Ssc- this made a significant impact to its sound bringing depth and speed.
I used this for a long time on the mid & bass drivers with the A20s on the tweeters.
When changing my speakers (driver count) around I kept the A60 in place and the A20s gathered dust.
Several posts here got me thinking and inspired a bit of research and a small project- I removed the transformer, caps & rectifier from one A20 and grafted it to the output stage of the other A20 splitting the input and output stages- each now with their own power supply. As a precaution I’ve added additional heat sinking but 2 weeks in all is good.
Do I prefer it to the A60- yes I believe it has a ‘clearer / cleaner’ sound compared to the A60- I’m enjoying it immensely.
For reasons of space and it’s ‘cuteness’ I use a P20- I modded the P20 internally with ssc. I only wish I could add a Sa to it.
I realise these Nva products are now used & abused and will not be sold on or traded in but it was always been my intention to purchase new Nva power amps at a later date anyway.
Roll on 2020- get that A60 loaner made
