Favourite Bassist

Okay - so being a bass-player myself means that I get a bit jealous when the spotlight goes onto the six-string ego-trippers out front.
I mean, who is doing all the hard work - laying down the melodic foundation for the rest of the band and trying to keep the drummer in time with the music.
