New David Gilmour album on the way...

Unread post by slinger »

This is the first single from David Gilmour's 'Luck and Strange', which will be released on 6th September 2024. It's quite "Momentary Lapse of Reason" era Pink Floyd-ish, I think, which bodes well for the album.

Don't these people know when to retire?

Pink Floyd were one of my favourite bands, I first saw them in Hull, 1972 I think, and the last time 1994 at Earls Court, that is how I want to remember them, not as a poor tribute band. You can argue that this isn't Pink Floyd, but you'd be arguing the toss.
The same goes for my two favs, YES and Jethro Tull, and I not going to mention Genesis and Phil Collins coming on stage in a wheelchair.
