Re: Non NVA Equipment Used By Members.
That's my experience too: I tried my P90 with the Exposure XVI power amps (just one pair), and even though it 'worked' (there was music), it sounded anaemic in comparison to my MCX pre. just a mismatch I suppose.

I had a whole second system with NVA amplification at one time (P50, 2 x A80 Mk.1, Phono 1). They did a pretty good job in making a pair of Linn Isobariks sound good. I sold it all because I just wasn't using it enough. Now I just have a P90 pre in a second system with active speakers, fed by the NV...

Re: Your last listen
Listening to a lot of British Jazz from the mid-'60s to mid-'70s: a truly wonderful period for the genre, where it really found its voice as something altogether different to the US variant. Explore Neil Ardley (and the New Jazz Orchestra); Mike Westbrook; Mike Gibbs; Ian Carr (and Nucleus); Tubby H...

Re: Genesis Remasters on Vinyl
I have between 5-7 versions of each album, so I'll try and keep it brief... Trespass - original Pink Scroll is good and punchy, if a little dull. All that came after it were dreadful, apart from the New Nick Davis remixed version in 2008: yes, it's a slightly different perspective, but there is a cl...
