The BMU thingy is a completely different animal. Was the doc thinking of a linear supply or just a bigger current and smoothing?

I would want to explore the power options rather than base things on one limited listen

What is a HiFiPi pray? Does it have a DAC on board if so which one? If not then the analogue 3.5mm socket output is pretty crap.

I use a Regen/UPS care of Power Inspired and find it has made my system consistent in it's sound. Would adding a BMU after the AG1500 bring further improvements or should it replace the AG1500? Is that what excellent journalism looks like? Realised I gave up reading papers years ago and haven't missed reading someones opinions littered with a few facts at all.
