I'm an old git Jammy, I've been listening to Genesis since Trespass, got loads of Camel on CD and vinyl, not to mention Gentle Giant, Barclay James Harvest, Yes, Atomic Rooster, Van Der Graaf Generator, and the list goes on

I've entered a "Prog" phase. Listening now to the one and only album by Quatermass from 1970 and next up is Moving Waves from Focus.

And of course Trent Reznor wrote "Hurt" which spawned one of the greatest cover versions (by Johnny Cash) of anything for a long long time.

Well, I'm listening to it now. It's really hard not thinking of Floyd while hearing it, especially tracks like "Is This the Shape" which reminds me an awful lot of Comfortably Numb. Overall though, I'm liking it so far and I've signed up for his mailing list so I can see if anything happen...

For my two pennorth I'd echo what Lindsayt said and listen Classic FM in the car, or the office, or whatever. It's a great primer, but they don't just play "the usual suspects."
