Hey Doc, I apprecite that it is difficult to work out without seeing it. Unfortunately its buzzing even with out any cables attached to it. Feck.

Sorry Im very to all this. When you say check the cable. Do you mean visually or maybe like a continuity test? I hate not knowing what to do.

Ive tried to seperate power cables and with out any audio connections. Is there a straight foward way to diagnose? Thanks for getting back so quick by the way.

It appears to be one step forwards and 3 backwards with my system at the moment! Ive just finnished making a pair of 7metre long van damme rca cables, plugged them into my recently acquired active sub and its started making a very aggressive buzz. Constant and regardless of volume. Tried other plugs...
