Re: BMU

BMU is still available at £250. Shipping within the UK via Parcel2Go is around £22 including full insurance for the amount being asked and I did tell a member here I'd split the difference on the shipping if it helps. I just can't use it any more here, but even in my coastal situation with generally...

Re: BMU

Hi all - I need to sell mine sadly, as we've had a complete change around and the second 'fun' system I once used daily has been scaled right back and no space for it. Happy to pay Savvy for advertising despite the different thread... Mine is the original demo unit Richard made with gold trimmed RCA...

Re: Which cheap Chinese DAC?

The dac-for-a-fiver has been made in several internal versions I think and I was shocked when I realised mine dated from 2012... Although it looks the same externally, the innards definitely aren't from what limited stuff I've seen! I'm assuming the modern cheap versions may well be better and perfe...

Re: Today, I have mostly been....

Sat in hospital for a few hours today, its bloody depressing. I must say things are looking up slightly today. My mum is 76 and has MS, dementia and can't walk. Some would say her quality of life is poor but she's my mum and i dont want her to go. Her carers have her laughing sometimes and that is ...

Re: Is this worth buying

Stu - One word - DON'T! Mind you, the R200 on its own and properly serviced is worth a ton (a really shitty bearing-bodged one sold earlier this year for £73 and with external wiring missing too) I can send an essay by PM if you like, but knowing this era of Regas as well as I do, they're feedback p...

Re: Damm

I don't know the wood body Grado's as well as the prestige line, but isn't the stylus as replaceable as on these lower models?

Maybe totally wrong for you but look here - https://www.analogueseduction.net/stylu ... ement.html

If that's to me, I spent over three hours listening through one last Thursday evening. It's the new Rega Aethos integrated amp.

Re: Amps - Whats in em and why?

I spoke to the sales manager of said product range on Thursday and he told me the signal path is actually quite simple (I have to take his word on it), but there's a lot of 'housekeeping' in there to keep things safe and reliable. He was quite surprised a pic of the innards had been published somewh...
