Doc, you are stepping in at just the right moment as I want to hear some NVA kit. I have the full Teddy Pardo system (dac, pre and monos) and would be more than happy to bring them along. I am also intrigued by the cube speakers as they could be just what I am looking for.

Re: NVA v Teddy Pardo
Thanks Doc, with Christmas upon us, I have to draw the line somewhere hence the economy with the cable. I don't want to use my avondale black link in case it.damages the amp.

Re: NVA v Teddy Pardo
The 80/20 rule is interesting. It it because the 20% really believe in the product range or is it a combination of belief plus a generous markup. IIRC "the customer buys but the seller chooses".

Re: NVA v Teddy Pardo

Apparently, it is not unknown for the post office to forget to collect the vat. The products are duty fr...

Re: NVA v Teddy Pardo
Everybody is entitled to an opinion but 5 minutes on the naughty step for anybody who has had a pop at teddy without hearing any of his products. I have no problem with those who have heard and have been underwhelmed. I am looking at NVA with an open mind. If it it better to my ears than teddy then ...

Re: NVA v Teddy Pardo
The quick answer is that they are different yet similar. I tried a teddycap plus on a 202 pre and was shocked by how good it was. Although the naimees will argue differently, I have always perceived the infamous bass-hump. I don't want to get into a discussion on the subject as it's been done to dea...

Re: NVA v Teddy Pardo
Ahh the slippery slope....... I am more than happy to be another victim for the Doc but the Teddy stuff is very very good. My gut feeling is that I'm going to like the amp but prefer the Teddy. I am saying this as both manufactuers sell direct so both offer exceptional value for money. In monetary t...
