Re: Black Sabbath
I was one of the few people at school who liked a bit of sabbath. They were the first “proper” band I saw when they played Lewisham odeon in 1975. An incredible night. It’s easy to forget just how much of a landmark their first album was. Pretty much the blueprint for heavy metal and nobody was doin...

Re: It's time for EVERYONE to compromise...
Sav, the answer to your question is yes. Perhaps it’s a bit sad that the notional 26% get what they want. You asked for a compromise and I suggested one. It’s transparent and it would allow the public to make an informed decision (something we didn’t have in 2016). If the compromise means that the “...

Re: It's time for EVERYONE to compromise...
Unless I am mistaken, we currently live in a democracy. In a democracy, the will of the majority should prevail. So why is brexit so problematic ? I think that the answer lies in the fact that the referendum question was flawed. Cameron et al did not do their homework. Correct me if I am wrong but t...

Perfect for somebody who wants to relive their 1960’s youth. I can see the attraction but don’t think I’ll be buying one.

Re: Reviews for the new NVA website
Happy to let my reviews be added but very little of my NVA kit is currently being built by the “new NVA”. I hope that the product range will increase in the future (especially some speakers).

Re: Foreign amps
Teddy Pardo (Israel) made some wonderful amps. He started his business building alternative power supplies for Naim. I bought one just to see what the fuss was about and was staggered by how much better it was than the Salisbury “original”. Fast forward and I replaced my Naim amps and Naim dac with ...

Re: Corbyn is an evil upstart monkey........
I almost feel sorry for JC. He has never really convinced me that he wants to stay in Europe. The result of the referendum left the Labour Party in a dilemma. Do they support the will of the people (ie agree to Brexit) or do they stick to what I think is their belief and rescind article 50 ? At the ...
