Re: NVA Reviews (THIS THREAD IS ONLY FOR STASHING REVIEWS)
Just a short report: my super sound pipes just arrived. They replace the pretty good Kimber Hero's. Pretty good ... Until now! Those not broken in ssp's sound incredible all ready. First impression after half an hour: much more and defined bass, air and focus. Thanks Doc!

Re: Castaway dilemma
Sounds like a very good idea. When I swim to my neighbor, hope he has some Gino Vannelli, forgot him on my list. Maybe his best album 'the gist of the Gemini'. In know, I know... He is totally unknown in England but huge in the rest of the world.

Re: Castaway dilemma
Difficult one to be honest, I try: 1. Donald Fagen - the Nightfly 2. Charlie Haden - the art of the song 3. Soft Machine 5 4. George Duke -Brazilian Love Affair 5. Something Classical, maybe Bachs Matthew passion because it is more then two hours of music And jeez Fretless:Judy Zuke! Forgot all abou...

Re: Musical Affairs speakers and open baffle
wonder what the high frequencies are really like. Cone speakers (with whizzer or lens as these seem to have) aren't always good up at the very top used full range and tend to 'point at you' in my experience - haven't heard these though I listened a few times that day, different types of music. As f...

Re: Musical Affairs speakers and open baffle
The Crescendo's begin at 6000 euro for a pair. But maybe interesting for you: I saw a pair of open baffles at his side without drivers in his 'sales' (opruiming) tab. I think 350 euro's. If your drivers fit that could be interesting. If I have to translate some for you just ask.

Musical Affairs speakers and open baffle
This weekend I visited the X-fi audio show near Eindhoven in Holland. One speaker really blowed my mind, the Musical Affairs Crescendo. Basic design is an open baffle, but the enclosure is beautifully bended, the back of the speaker is open as well as the underside of the enclosure. It is driven by ...

Re: Go digital with Windows Server 2012
Update: As you could read in an earlier post I installed Windows server 2012 on my pc, together with HQPlayer and JRiver. It all was a bit of a dissappointment because I couldn't stream DSD128 files anylonger. They stuttered all over the place. I tried and tried with latency and buffer settings, but...
