Jethro Tull's aqualung was my first album! Probably when i was 16...
After that i bought Thick as a Brick. When I play either of them on vinyl I always notice how good they sound.
They still work for me...

You have a point with less background noise at night. However what I heard at daytime was harshness which was completely gone after I installed the filter also in daytime. I am living in a city area. Don't worry... I still have a turntable and lots of lp's. It is therapeutic indeed and I do that lots of times.
