Due to room size/layout my speakers are on shelves in the middle of about 1000 albums each side of an old chimney breast in a small room. I still have my stands but sitting them in front of the records brings them far too close for comfort.

unfortunately the sc cable I had was too short, I tried ssc which didn't actually sound too bad, however playing with the Focus tt was a bit of fun/nostalgia and I soon came back to earth when I went back to using my main turntable.oh well!

I actually have a set of sc lying around the house so I will give them a try, they are on the short side so if I decide they are the ones I would need to order some longer ones.Thanks for the advice.

I have been using the project box ds for about 18 months now and have no problems at all with mine, however i must admit i would really like a higher quality psu with it as I think the wallwart thing is pretty abysmal.
