I liked this one. A bit old, but I ran across it earlier this year. Kenny Olsen Cadre.

Re: A Plinth For A Sp 10 MK II
The only SP10 I have heard sounded bland and grey, Didn't want to paste the whole thing cause this point caught my attention. Captures my feelings on the SP15 and 25 completely. Which is what concerns me about the SP 10. But I might as well push forward and see what happens. I own it, so I should g...

Re: A Plinth For A Sp 10 MK II
It depends how much energy is going into the plinth, different designs of TT like different things. I am having a plinth I have described to you being made for a idler drive Goldring G99 with a Neat broadcast arm, looking forward to hearing it. My main TT is a Jap direct drive from the early 70's, ...

I have 25 years experience of using acrylic in hi-fi equipment including TT plinths and speakers and amps. http://www.nvahifi.co.uk Cool. I think I read a post somewhere on here that says you prefer idlers and DD tables also. One more question if you don't mind. Do you prefer the high mass energy s...

Re: A Plinth For A Sp 10 MK II
Two or three layers of edge polished 20mm black acrylic glued together. Job done. 20mm = approx 1inch Like the acrylic option eh? I have heard it said there is a shop that does plastics the next town over, and I think they do CNC cutting also. Seems like they could knock one out. Since the SP10 dri...

A Plinth For A Sp 10 MK II
When I bought a plinth for my TD124 I got a stacked birch one from a builder in Moldova. Added a couple of layers of material, and had it at 4 inches. Then a friend of mine built me a modified version of the Loricraft design in Ambrosia Maple for my 401. Not sure how that one is going to work out, i...
