I found a couple of speakers using bipole bass drivers. Don't worry, I have had some very good advice from the fine folk who frequent TAS. Apart from Slinger that is who obviously knows bugger all about wood :grin:

My brother in law gave me Led Zeppelin How the west was won box set including vinyls, cd's and a code for the down load. Limited edition and selling for about £150 currently. Can't believe he didn't want it :dance:

Yes, I have a few Can albums including Ege Bamyasi. I find Jaki's drumming to be very syncopated and hypnotic. I admire it very much.

I am having second thoughts about using solid oak for the whole thing. I got carried away with using as much of the table as possible for cost and recycling purposes.
