I use the power leads and I think they are rather good if over-priced. Not a lot into the interconnects - I gave Crystal Cu up for sale if you want to try it.
As for the cleaning products, spec cleaner and a microfibre cloth cleans your specs so why not your CDs. It's all polycarbonate.

Out of curiosity just now. How much for a 0.75m (or pretty close if you have it made up already) please?

If balanced mains are so brilliant, why are power supplies not made that way in the first place?

Re: hearing test
Folks - we need to accept that high frequency hearing degenerates with time. It's inevitable. Just manage it as best you can. It may come to hearing aids - if anyone has experience with different hearing aids, please post as I may end up there. The "hissing" (or sometimes a high pitch whin...

Nice to see someone else finally gets round to the introductions. My limited experience, so far, has been good provided you can stand the odd rant at some others.
Enjoy.

Re: My system goes "weedy" in the afternoon
Its your mains, someone is using something at this time that is fecking it up - only solution is either a mains regenerator or a balanced mains unit. I chose for NVA a BMU solution as I prefer that. You will find it will improve the system at all times as well as solving the problem. I was seriousl...

My system goes "weedy" in the afternoon
I love my system when it's running correctly. It absolutely sings. That means when it goes off song, it's very obvious. The last couple of days listening in the afternoon (great to be retired) is goes all horrible. All I need to do is leave it and come back in the evening and it's fine. I think it's...
