Re: New Adventures in Chi-Fi

BTW, I did buy the V3 with the higher output transformer. Also, I might never have taken a chance on Chi-Fi if it hadn't been for this thread, so thanks to everyone who's contributed.

Re: New Adventures in Chi-Fi

My Fosi Audio V3 impresses me everytime I listen to it. I use it with my iPhone and the sound is musical, distortion free and revealing. Based on my experience I'd recommend Fosi Audio as a brand.

Re: Obits

Sad news. Carla Bley was fantastic live, her warmth and drole sense of humour came across and her music was more accesable than on some of her albums. Would like to thank Stu especially, for describing your own journey towards enjoying the music. It has informed my progress towards the same goal. Cheers.

Re: Paths to digital music joy .

Update... Now listening via an Audiolab 7000A. Built in DAC, no need to worry about RCA vs. balanced, whether or not I should spend more on interconnects or not, only 1 on/off switch! KISS

The album I find a demanding but rewarding listen and absolutly brilliant is Let England Shake.

Re: Paths to digital music joy .

I'm useless with computers and remain impressed by all I read here by those who are able to program or install updates etc. to any form of digital device. Having said that, I decided that now Apple Music is available as Hi-Res Lossless that I would donate all my CD's to a charity shop and go digital...
