Re: 3 before bedtime

3 before bedtime tonight – Feeling groovy. Whist trawling youtube music vids, I came upon Simon and Garfunkel’s ‘The Boxer - live from Central Park’ 1981 I think. Okay, we all know it, but for some reason, this particular version totally blew my socks off! What makes it, is Art Garfunkel’s presence,...

Re: Coronavirus restrictions: are they legal

I couldn't guess what restrictions would be applied under a Corbin government. I suppose it depends on the Science you receive and believe. Holding back the free market would be a good idea, as it is currently running rampant due to the restrictions.

Re: The Tories could have timed this better

Ironically I have worked in Wellingborough for the past 10 years. I drink in a wondetful micro brewery bar opposite Petet Bone's HQ. The pub had a magnetic pull, a cozy environment, great tasting booze and conversations on music, politics and bollocks. It is now sadly banned and has been closed for ...

With a wave of Johnson's hand or a signature from Hancock new law is passed. No scrutiny required. Approved by parliment 24 hours after becomming law and with the exception of a few tories, no opposition, most notably from the opposition. Who the hell is holding this bunch to account? Not MSM that's...

3 before bedtime tonight, a momentary lapse. Although I am no big Pink Floyd man, I do have a few albums from my youth; Obscured by clouds, which is excellent, Wish you were here, Animals, again excellent but it is The Wall that has excited me lately and had a good outing before Christmas. I really ...

Re: Opinions on how the Government have handled the coronavirus outbreak

Does anyone else remember being told, on a regular basis, what a great orator Johnson is? Surely you mispelled traitor there? Off topic. It seems, that in an attempt of some late night wit, I am the one guilty of a spelling error. Mispelled, should be spelt 'misspelled' and is an Americanism, so it...
