I would politely suggest that the new device I fitted on my turntable would make a bigger difference than changing a wooden plinth from one type of wood to another.

I am always on the look out for ways to improve my hifi. Improve, or just make it different? :lol: I think DQ is being clear that he wants an improvement rather than a difference. You might have learnt that on an earlier thread ;) And there lies the problem. How is changing the plinth material goin...

The signal should be digital. Do you not have a TOSLINK input on your DAC?

I was tempted by a mini-pc, but I had enough bits layingbaround to build an i7-6700k based streamer with the option of using the onboard DAC or SPDIF into my Caiman SEG.
