Re: Bad DIY or bad art...?

At least one of the drivers is a Leak Sandwich mid range. https://cdn1.vectorstock.com/i/1000x1000/57/25/shining-star-award-background-vector-34545725.jpg Good man! :-) It's one my least favourite drivers. Very screechy and low power handling capacity. But, I like the way it looks. Hopefully it wil...

Re: Bad DIY or bad art...?

Managed to get round to sorting the electronics. 7 speakers in all (4 running off one channel, 3 off the other). Hopefully reasonably acceptable to users here as the crossover systems are all as simple as possible and all but the 18 inch cab is sealed. Using the old IncaTech Claymore, and regardless...

He-he.
I hadn't spotted that. :-D
I need to sort out a different hanger really. That one's just pinched from the wife's garden egg chair.

Bad DIY or bad art...?

I like making speakers. I like construction work. I like making art. "Why not combine them?" I thought. So far this... Now need to get the electronics sorted next so I can get some sound of it. (Gold star for any identifications of the drivers I raided from various previous projects in the...

Re: Speaker Stands

I have been playing around with a totally fresh idea - well it's fresh to me and I can't find any evidence on Google of it. I think it will take me at least 6 months to get a decent prototype made but I am quite excited about it. Who would have thought I would have got the speaker stand bug ? Stu h...

Re: Another speaker build...

Now in place.
Sound much better in here, weirdly.
I've noticed before that any speaker placed close to the "wall" in the conservatory gets a huge uplift in...I'd guess...the 90Hz region.
Great that the old Claymore now has some decent friends to play with.
