Re: Townshend seismic isolation products
I was slightly surprised that all three axes responded in the same way, I wonder why? The middle trace seemed attenuated, other than that, they were suspiciously similar. That was my point but I still think the level of the ground borne vibrations is below the threshold of hearing. Without a doubt....

Re: Townshend seismic isolation products
Hmm. I'm wondering what application these guys are running, i was unable to find it. The sensor in my tablet (Bosche BMI120) reacts nothing like the video, checking the specs (16bit resolution, 1Msps) it's not a hardware limitation. Their app appears to be severely bandwidth limited, i can see the t...

I often thought of doing that as it is said there are considerable benefits to having extremely short signal wires from cartridge to phono ...

Re: Phono stage Board
I had a Threshold preamp once. It had an external MC headamp, powered from a socket in the back. I'd suggest that would be the way forward if you have no space left. No problem powering any reasonable number of preamp boards from the main power supply, their actual power consumption is so small. The...

Re: Did Anyone Do the NVA challenge in the 90`'s
Hmm, even Dale, my business partner was a bit of a linnie. When i told him i'd started using a Kenwood KD600 he was horrified, "but direct drive turntables aren't any good" he replied. "This one is pretty good" i replied, better than my RB300/AR legend, which is comparable to you...
