I have one on the “buy it and try it” scheme.
Are you interested in my thoughts on it as a £300 item?
Yes I have been away from here for a while, but I am in no way connected with Funk Firm and will not benefit from posting about it.

Re: MC Cartridges
I'm baffled by your post. Your going from a cheap mm to the most expensive moving coil they make. Bizarre. By the way, the AT20SLa was one of the top level MM cartridges Audio Technica ever produced. My post did not mention the AT95, until you made the false statement above. So what is the point of...

Re: MC Cartridges
I don’t just have one cartridge. The AT95 gets fitted when I have guests with children round. It avoids inquisitive finger/cantilever interfaces. The thing that puts me off going up the food chain is an ART-9 may be a little better than my AT33PTG/II. I may be better off spending the money elsewhere...

Re: MC Cartridges
CaterhamKev, I can't help with the AT ART9 as I haven't heard one by now. Seems to be a great cart according to many positive reviews from owners in forums. I do own an AT OC30 from the early 90s (was one below the ART-1 at that time) and it is still sounding very nice. Currently, my personal favor...

That looks like a Monster of an amp. I would love to hear this and a Modulus 686 in a good system in a well sorted room.

Re: Coronavirus and deliveries
So basically anybody is allowed out. Nope. You can only go out on your own, with a signed paper giving you authorisation to do so. My wife has gone out this morning to the doctors. She was stopped and the Gendarmes checked she had an appointment. There are very few people out and about. Those peopl...

Re: Coronavirus and deliveries
Over here, nobody is allowed out unless they need to exercise, go to the supermarket, pharmacy, doctors or work. Parcels are still being delivered, but there is minimal contact. The last delivery I took, I had black neoprene gloves on as I was working on the car. I got some strange looks for that on...
