Thanks for that Savvy and Fretless. Should have mentioned the only change to my system was moving up from a P50 to a P90sa, as many will know, a leap in sq.

I had the same problem when I had a LP12, moved over to a PT and records that sounded 'flat' suddenly had more life than I expected.
