Watford Valves has a tube set specifically for upgrading Chinese amps:

Price is a little higher than buying the tubes individually, although it doesn't say they are matched. £6 each or two for £18?!

Re: Time to go Planar!
Thanks Steve / Fretless. I didn't think about the tubes needing to be matched pairs. Does it make that much difference? I will have a look on the website to see if they are available like this. I also listen to the iPad via bluetooth to an arcam rBlink which then goes into an NVA P20, along with a C...

Re: Time to go Planar!
Really enjoying this thread, trouble is I'm now wondering whether to get another pair of headphones! I've never used a headphone amp so I like the idea of the Sabaj. I'm trying to figure out how I could use it with an iPad as I tend to use that a lot for music. I could use the headphone output to th...

Re: How people surprise you!
It's funny, I looked at this thread just after seeing the new integrated with its added graphics. I do agree that having had help from you does make a difference and he could have explained what he didn't like and why in a less abrupt way. Personally, now the very minimalist graphics have been added...

I forgot about Pulstar, another track I played repeatedly.
"I'll find my way home" with Jon Anderson is a favourite.
Blade Runner's a classic, there's so many!

I have quite a few Vangelis albums.
Possibly my first Vangelis purchase was a 7" single of the theme tune to Cosmos, which I think is from the Heaven & Hell album?
One of my all time favourite tracks is Dervish D, just used to play that over and over. Also love Albedo 0.39.

Re: NVA Blog
I always preferred the flush design of the last version of the acrylic Cubes, more than the ones with projecting sides. When I saw the New Cubes had gone back to projecting sides I was a bit surprised but they look perfect with the grilles on. Every time I see a picture of them on those oak stands t...

Re: NVA review on youtube
Any plans for more YouTube videos or reviews? A British Audiophile is good and gets a fair amount of views.

NVA review on youtube
Just noticed a YouTube channel called hi-fi riff has posted a review of NVA amps. Haven’t watched it yet but it’s over 20 minutes so should be interesting.

Wow, that's a lot of albums. I will have a look at that later.
