Re: Placement (amps, psu, pre amp etc)

Stu right now I haven't got a clue but I will make it my business to find out. The Evans MG+ and my TT both have separate power supplies. The tuner does not and weighs next to nothing so I assume thats not going to cause a problem however it might be on the receiving end of EMF etc Thanks Paul

Re: Placement (amps, psu, pre amp etc)

If I can't and I am reasonably sure I can't get my phono and pre amp more than 2' foot away from the A80s and PSUs is there anything I can use to screen them ? Thanks Paul

Re: Phono 2 with dual PSU

Could be interested but I never fully understood how Richard set his phono stages for impedance and gain and whether this could be modified once set for a specific cartridge

Re: Getting the best from Streaming music

Brilliant and inspiring thread. Once autumn comes I will be having a go. Before I do I need to cover off my streaming newbie question. I currently use an Activo CT 10 for streaming Tidal - I am correct in assuming the Pi etc will replace the CT 10 or is it more a case of augmenting it ? Thanks Paul

Re: Richard Dunn

I wrote to Richard a few weeks after his passing, unaware of the sad news. When I got no response I did a few Google searches and realised he was gone for good. I have known a few out spoken people like Richard (in different fields though) and I have always got on very well. I first met Richard back...
