Sunday evening's BBC 1 highlight show was better. They actually had a swimmer as a pundit to talk about the swimming. Still far too much talking and not enough actual sports highlights though.

Shame the Saturday evening Olympics highlight show on BBC1 was so poorly presented and edited. A panel of 3 celebrities who self-admittedly didn't have a clue about the sports they were talking about. Talk talk talk talk talk. Show a bit of sport then more talk talk talk. Boring boring boring. I've been able to check out some of the final bid prices, which are in many cases much higher than eBay prices - EG Technics 1210 for £460 + 40%.

With Google, it's amazing how quickly you can become one of the leading references on obscure hi-fi equipment just by buying it and talking about it in on a hi-fi forum. Post up a photo or 2 and you'll come near the top with "item x photo" searches too.

I've not been convinced by the ability of the systems that I've heard equipped with Aros to handle bass transients without softening them.
