Re: Hi-Fi Honesty
I got the impresion that dealers were under pressure when I had the demo of the LP12. When I said I was less than impressed the salesman put it down to my choice of music. This was like a red rag to a bull.

Re: Streaming- Naim Musical Fidelity etc
Almost everything I play is streamed, either from Qobuz or ripped CDs. My set ups are detailed in my signature. The main system is not cheap but putting things in context I do not believe a vinyl or CD front end could compete at the same price. I have experienced two quantum leaps in SQ. The first w...

Shocked and very saddened to read about the sudden passing of Paul Raymond. Saw him performing with UFO last month and he looked fine. They are one of my all time favourite bands who I have seen on numerous occassions. You never know what is round the corner. R.I.P.

My first two a!bums were presents, A collection of Beatles oldies and T.Rex, Electric Warrier. The first album I bought was Rod Stewart, Every Picture tells a story. I still ha...

Re: Why is music so important for us.
Music has been a huge part of my life for over fifty years, ever since I had my first transistor radio. Top of the Pops was my highlight of the week. I was blown away when they showed the Beatles performing Get Back on the roof top. I had an older friend who would come to my house and play his Beatl...

Re: What is NVA
Being ripped off is part of life and does not just apply to hifi. Last year we booked a fjords cruise for next month at a very reasonable price. It is only now that we are being informed about all these additional extras we had no idea were coming. We have not been on a cruise before and were probab...
