Re: Wireless one box hifi

I understand the feeling of wanting to replace all your hifi for a simple one-box system. I was recommended NVA some years ago when I was looking for a passive preamp to go with my active AVI DM5 speakers. I ended up getting a P20 which worked perfectly with them. It has a CD player and Arcam blueto...

Re: Electronic Music

Finally got to listen to Tangerine Dream's Raum CD recommended above. Really good and definitely will be getting repeated plays. Also got 'The Core' as well. Thanks Fretless!

Re: Can the world act fast?

UK Column talked about climate change yesterday and mentioned this report / declaration: https://clintel.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/World-Climate-Declaration-Sept-2020.pdf James Dellingpole also did a really interesting show with Greenpeace co-founder Patrick Moore recently: https://odysee.com/@...

Re: Headset advice

I think the boss wants to try headsets for when more people start coming back into the office (which is open plan) and there is more than one zoom meeting going on. As I understand it, the mic has some sort of noise cancelling so the sound of anyone else talking nearby would be reduced. Or something...

Re: Headset advice

Thanks for that Tony. The wife of a work colleague uses a Jabra Evolve2 40 USB headset. Almost the same name and the price is similar but a different style! Can't really tell what the difference is in terms of specs/performance so might come down to style preference. Searching around today a cheaper...

Headset advice

Bit of a long shot. Does anyone have any experience with headsets for Zoom meetings? Looking to get some for the office but we've no idea what to go for. There are loads on amazon but no idea about the quality or the reviews. If anyone can recommend a good quality one that would be great.

Re: Coronavirus restrictions: are they legal

Any scientist, doctor, professor or nurse that has a different view to the Government's narrative and tries to speak out (or even just questions it) will get attacked by the media and no doubt lose their job. People who try to question the jab, lockdowns and testing etc on youtube will get a ban. I'...

Re: Coronavirus restrictions: are they legal

Just watched an interesting video from Ivor Cummins interviewing the author of a book called "State of Fear". UK Column have mentioned the Government departments mentioned in the book many times and the tactics they've used.

Re: Celebrate the Music of Peter Green...

Thanks, I think I'll go for that.

In the normal amazon "frequently bought together" it lists Neil Young's "Way Down in the Rust Bucket". Just been watching some videos of it on youtube which are great.
