As I'm learning very quickly it's not as easy as it looks - or should be.

Re: What Router do you use?

Cheers, currently the router is behaving but I'll have a look at the Cisco stuff, may see if I can get something off ebay and have a play first. There may be some dumb questions in the future.

Turntable - Technics SL-1210G always wanted to try a DD deck so why not. Amp - Rotel RA-1592MKII liked them 30 years ago. Still way too much electronic jiggery pokery going on, but RS don't seem to sell straight amps.. Speakers - Mission ZX-5 Again always had a soft spot for Mission speakers though ...

What Router do you use?

It looks like our current Draytek router is on it's way out, which after just over 2 years service is less than stellar. So a question for those of you not using the ISP provided box, which router and why? In terms of a replacement I've used Netgear wifi access points and found them reasonably robus...

Re: Who do you support...!!!

I don't begrudge anyone who is watching the WC, or any flavor of footie for that matter, it's just not for me. The last team I enjoyed watching was Barnet FC when I lived round the corner from Underhill. It seem rude not to go, and you couldn't argue with a team who started their 3rd division career...

Re: Who do you support...!!!

Thus far minutes of football watched = 0 Projected minutes of football likely to be watched = 0 Team supported in the next round = Franceland Team supported in the round after, hopefully Franceland, but if not then whoever Engerland are playing. I used to enjoy international football, but now I can'...

Re: Your last listen.

Hawkwind - The Machine Stops
The Chameleons - Elevated Living. This is a collection of early recordings for TV on DVD & CD. well worth having for some early versions of their songs. some of the performances are less than polished, but they are honest, unlike the current crop of auto tuned clones.

Re: Are you being tight with the heating ?

Thus far - not so much but then we were lucky with the deal we signed up with prior to the real nastiness kicking off. At the time I thought it was expensive, but in hindsight. Though rather than turn the heating up when (or if in these odd times) it does get cold I will use the log burners to keep ...

Under 100 quid: I second the vote for the Topping D30 (now E30) and they do an even cheaper unit, the D10.
I'd third this vote for the E30 as well.
