In one sentence you have described pretty much every one of the misbegotten denizens that lurk within Westminster.

Re: Tinker, Tailor, Streamer, Pi.

I think the problem here is getting the PC you have LMS installed on to see the WD drive. Once you can get the PC to see the drive you can copy the path from file manager into music folder on the basic settings page. I got the PC to see My Cloud, eventually. Following advice on the LMS forum I crea...

Not long ago I discovered that play back apps do not sound the same when I gave Mconnect a try. I discovered that I slightly preferred Mconnect to BubbleUp, but there was not much in it. This aroused my curiosity and for the first time I was tempted by Logitech Media Server. Being a computer numpty...

Re: Your last listen

It's also worth tracking down This Never Ending Now, plus either Strip, or Acoustic Sessions which are essentially the same LP with some live stuff tacked onto the latter one. Likewise The Free Trade Hall Rehearsal, Here Today, Gone Tomorrow and Dreams in Celluloid are good as well. Definitely a ban...

Re: Your last listen

Late 90's King Crimson had a lot in common, sonically, with Tool and it was a question of who influenced who? Steven Wilson of Porcupine Tree wears his influences openly: Rush, King Crimson, Pink Floyd etc. Arghhh! - So where would be a good place to start down this particular rabbit hole? The dele...
