Re: Introduce Yourselves

Folks Thanks for your welcome. Yes, welcome Mick, have read your latest re Stager silvers so come on what other kit are you using at present. I currently have a Musical Fidelity system (NuVista and kW550) upgraded by JS Audio. This links into a pair of ProAc D28's. My own Stager Silver solids as int...

Re: Introduce Yourselves

Should have come here 1st but didn't read the "instructions" (I'm a bloke - right). I'm in the luck position to own some rather nice stuff and I've spent some silly money at times. Wish I'd come across NVA sooner. The only thing I have is the LS6 speaker 8-) cable and I think it rather tas...

Re: Stager Silver Solids reworked

Thought so much of the original rework, I tried the same philosophy on the leads to my supertweeters both to see the effect and tidy up the DNM which was to long and I didn't want to cut. Stager Silver Solids reworked

I found these (http://stagersound.com/silver/intro.htm) on t'internet and ordered a 1m pair. The reviews, personal and professional were excellent. I didn't realise quite how flexible they were and they flopped all over the back of my set up. Basically, 28 gauge (0.5mm) silver wire in PTFE (Teflon) ...

Re: Dumb speaker question

I'd strongly recommend Royd Eden's. My eldest had a pair and they performed flawlessly. I then used them on my computer driven by a Denon DM37 and this blew away most anything else I could find at a sensible price. The only problem was one of the 4mm sockets on the back came loose. Probably easy to ...

Re: Solid Oak Speaker Stands

If you want "massive" I have copy Target R4's about 0.7m high. They weigh about 30 - 40 kg each. You can have them if you want to travel to Southport. They need a rub down and a repaint as they are a tad rusty in places - but what do you want for nothing. More details and pics if intereste...
