Recently read a review of Larsen speakers which are a modern take on the Sonab. Designed to sit up against a wall they are compact floor standers. Look interesting as an option for a wife tolerant solution - dependent on the sound of course.

Can someone explain why there are so few new "sealed" speakers manufactured . Yes, I understand the bass output limitations but adding a sub with some output control should surely make them a viable alternative.
