Thanks Andrew! I bought a pair of JIII this summer ( very cheap ;... €50 :D ). I`am not shure if the mid/bass driver is the original one ( a Viva something??). I´ll look on the Snell page .... :?: But overall they sound very satisfactory - if a bit dark.

I have noticed that lyrics can be easier to pick out on some tracks in the car, could it be down to the lack of frequency extremes highlighting the range of frequencies present in the human voice? Hence your "understandable" comment. Guy. With "understandable" I mean a stressles...

.... standing on a parking area .. motor switched of..... music is very gorgeous ... maybe not clear as with my domestic system... but very understandable ....

Even my very simple car hifi sounds very entertaining ... is it the special battery power supply ? ....any ideas ??

.... but I really loved the presentation ; these huge amps with "a 1/4 inch thick circuit boards" ...... was just a dream at that time ...
