This has been on my 'wants-list' for years. Old-fashioned slapstick, hopelessly politically-incorrect and a trip back to a simpler and happier world.

First up: 'Carry On Sergeant', let's roll!

Put me on one of those gigantenormous floating petri dish cruise boats with that set playing 24/7 wherever I look and Satan will have to think no further for my personal Hell. The only way I can think of making it any worse is if they alternated it with the complete works of Benny Hill, introduced by Nigel Farage.

Still watch them, good light hearted fun from a better era. They are on enough, no reason to buy DVDs.

Having left the UK in 1990, memories of childhood run deep and I spent many a rainy afternoon watching reruns of the Carry-On films.

Currently, I'm needing that nostalgic security - pretty well all I'm watching is shows/films from the 60's and 70's. Dutch TV doesn't have these sort of things available - so DVD's are the best way to get hold of them.

Just need a warm & fuzzy emotional blanket right now.

Personally I'd rather watch a box set of all the Ealing comedies / Alec Guiness (apart from Star Wars) / Peter Sellers (non pink panther) films
