Re: HDMI cables

+1 for Wireworld. I like their cables a lot. I used two of their standard Starlight 7 cables in my USB chain and I tried to upgrade to Silver Starlight 7s which were on offer but I needed two, and they only had one left in stock of a suitable length at the offer price I'd found. I'm sort of glad it didn't happen now though, as my Volumio-based streamer is a USB-free zone these days.

As mentioned earlier, my HDMI cables are all AQ.

I tried an optical HDMI cable, and admittedly it was a "version" from AliExpress, but the AQ Cinnamon was better, I thought, and I didn't even bother putting it up against an AQ Carbon.

As a point of interest, if anyone's looking to buy an AQ Cinnamon HDMI cable or more, Peter Tyson are banging them out at a ludicrously low price. They are "last years model" and so only 4K compliant, rather than the new 8K models, but if you fancy a 1M lead for £39.95, go for it. 3M leads are £49.95
