The A80s are a silly price and the comparison to the current model is misleading. Blatant opportunism.

Same with the old P50. I doubt they paid anywhere near that for it brand new.

The Cube 2s are are a good buy, especially as they appear to be the thicker cabs (the later, thinner cabs don't sound as good to my ears, but the thicker cabs were crazy expensive to make).

The TIS looks like an off cut / prototype. I have a similar 1 metre pair here that I bought from Richard for 50% off. £100 would be about right for those.

They will make what they make, though...with the Hi-Fi World and WAM reviews it appears that people are now willing to believe what Richard, and we, have always said.

Agree on the pricing
Interesting fact about the cube2 which should make then more desirable
I got a p50 for £200 new during a Doc ‘special’ offer

Those Cube2's look identical to my pair - which were RD's original prototype set.
They sound awesome and are a steal at that price.

If figlet is selling the amps, he would have paid nothing for them most likely.

He was docs partner for a while.

The box gives an address for NVA of SG9 9JS.

Which would have been the 20th century version of NVA. Which was more along traditional factory lines with 100ish employess, sold via dealers.

Instead of the 21st century iteration of NVA which was the direct sales, low overheads 1, 2 or 3 man version of NVA.

If it is Figlet, of former NVA partnership status, it's possible he bought the A80 and P50 in the 80's or 90's.

My 1980's amps have Peterborough as place of manufacture - I would say the address on the boxes indicates a 90's model.

Apart from the original poster, I find myself asking Why.
Why should it bother any one what the seller is asking for, no matter what they paid for it or how they obtained it(as long as it was legal)
Why would it be Blatant opportunism when when reviews are sought hoping to drive up interest.
Why would ,when and were it was produced cause so much concern.
At worst these items are overpriced, at best they are RD products and as such are the essence of NVA.
Why when quite a few people here benefited and stand witness to those products would it be a problem.
The market, as always decides value.
