Given what he would have paid for it and how long he's had it he is taking the piss.

The doc would be outraged.

With the short time I have been here and the all be it little knowledge of the "Doc" maybe he would smile a little bit?. As for current nva is this not an endorsement (if they sell) of how much value the current products are and how the open market values them? Bear in mind a current set of Ls5 ,3 metres ( I know) are £300.00. I acknowledge your experience and knowledge is far greater than mine
When anyone sells something its there choice what they ask for it and what someone chooses to pay. The market defines it not emotions.

Here, I like to think that we help each other make informed decisions. Yes, the market decides...but well informed buyers make a better market, imo.

This is late 80's model, virtually identical to my old NVA 'Big Knob' pre-power combo from 1986 (still running), the power-amp has a slightly chunkier heatsink that was introduced between 86 and 90.

SQ is typical NVA transparency but lacks the dynamic sparkle of later editions.

800 pounds is way too much.
