NVA PRE load resister value

Unread post by Rettib2001 »

Hi,

I've just added a P50sa to complete my NVA setup: BMU, Phono 2 dual power supply, MKII a80 Monoblocks

I got the P50sa off an aquaintance (for free) but he seems to have changed the load resistors on the stepped attenuator to : 10R 0.4W Charcroft Z-Foil Resistor

Is that the right value?!

With vinyl I can't even use the first 'step' it's already too loud.

Any advice would be great, as i'd feel comfortable enough with a soldering iron to change it back to the right value if neccesary.

Cheers

Mark

I'm not surprised.

We fit 10k.

10R is 1/1000th of that value.
