In between drying coats of paint in the shit tip of a spare room I created with this DIY craziness, I decided to rationalise the overall system, by moving a few components around. By doing this I created a space for a few records:

Steve could your amp design be adapted to a pair of mono blocks ?
Modified Airlink BPS 3110S with LDA DC filter

Wartime 807s with top cap anodes (320V) in black Hammond steel chassis. It’s a Single-ended pentode amp, with screen grids regulated to 250V using gas discharge tubes (the two small ones between the output valves) fed by a mosfet cascode constant current source. 3 stages with global negative feedback. Industrial chic and all that jazz. 6.5WPC and sounds bloody fantastic.

Best sound-per-pound value I’ve achieved thus far :dance:
