AP30 question.

Unread post by Ordinaryman »

Having watched the Lefson toutube post, I have a question.
I have never seen the internalls of my S/H Ap30. Untill this vid or any other for that matter.
I am curious to know why the L/H rear of it gets "warm" in use (viewed from the front). I had assumed that must be where the transformer was sighted but obviously not.
Any idea?
Dont get me wrong it sounds fine to my ears. Just wondering why?

your AP30 may not be the same layout as the one in the YT video. Case sizes and materials (and, therefore, layouts) changed over the years.

Warm is OK. Hot is not.
