Talk us through your turntables. Nice!
On the rack: Garrard 401, Ortofon 12" arm, SPU
On the side: Modded Lenco, Audiomods arm, AT33sa
Hey Paul- the AT33sa- was a cartridge I was considering buying- do u have any reference to previous cartridges like the Denon 103 you owned- what does it bring to your sound- I have an AT95sa i really like, the mc Signet is slightly bass light but musical and find I like the Ortofon mc range for bass punch.
Cheers

The AT33sa is much more explicit than the Denon, in my set up. It doesn't lack weight, though.

The Denon performs best in the 12" Ortofon arm. It has the 'boogie' factor but it paints in big blocks of colour rather than fine lines.

If it paints in big blocks does that affect your perception of sound stage width

The Denon doesn't sound small or narrow.
