Those drivers are all on one panel :naughty: My rule is you can have as many drivers as you like but not more than one on any panel. Dodecahedron is on my to do list

Had to go and look up dodecahedron. Crazy shape and my first thought was if there's no internal partition wouldn't 12 drivers create some sort pressure wave madness ? Asking for a friend 😉

The pressure wave will get farted out of the port.

It wouldn't be a problem as long as all the open back drivers were playing the same range of frequencies like for eg 12 full rangers . No need to include any farting ports.

If you were doing a two way then most of the 12 drivers would be tweeters and they are usually closed back. Anyway, the more mid bass or full range drivers you put in it the bigger the box needs to be.

I would love to have the time and money to construct a speaker with 3 chambers , lower for the bass, middle for the midrange topped off by dodecahedron chamber with 12 tweeters - that would be a real voyage of discovery

You must be good at calculating angles and cutting wood to even attempt to make one . A nightmare I would say.

I am currently dipping in and out of Google trying to find info on the face angles for various polyhedrons - so far no luck

Does that come as a pair with the 360 degree surveillance camera so BB can not only see you, but speak to you in full surround sound..

Can't help think that it would sound like a station announcement speaker. From 500m away into a blustery wind.

Point of order Fretless, that's not a football, this is:
Buckminsterfullerene is a type of fullerene with the formula C60. It has a cage-like fused-ring structure (truncated icosahedron) that resembles a soccer ball, made of twenty hexagons and twelve pentagons. Each carbon atom has three bonds.
