Having recently got this amp S/H I have a couple of questions,
Will it be ok driving 4ohm speakers via LS1/LS3 cables? i.e. not put to much load on the amp etc?
What is the direct input for?
Sorry to be so naïve but I just don't want to do some thing stupid

Re: Novice questions re AP30
4 ohm speakers are never ideal for NVA. The AP30 will have to work harder than it would with a higher impedance speaker. I thought you had Cubettes, though?
LS3 is a full range cable, LS1 is ideal for driving tweeters (and is now called LST)
The direct input bypasses the input selector switch but not the volume control. If using direct, use direct ONLY, nothing else connected.

Re: Novice questions re AP30
Thanks, yes have cubetts but was going to try some dynaudios I own as I was thinking of selling them and wanted to make sure they were ok before saying and doing so as I sell very little and wanted to be sure.
I think ill leave the direct input alone!
Purchased the LS1 from the "older" nva site as speaker cables didn't think they had a different application. Will be interested to hear the LS3 with cubetts then.
