Yes, big rooms with carpets and plenty of furniture, including bookshelves stuffed with books or vinyl tend to have good acoustics.

And detached houses with space to the nearest neighbours are great for listening at generous, but not deafening volumes.

This thread got me thinking about the positioning of my speakers as following the change in the location of furniture last year there was scope for experimentation. I found that the sound has improved by moving them a foot further apart and increasing the toe in. The sound stage has widened with improved imaging. :grin:
