Audiophiles and Music Lovers

Unread post by Fretless »

This is a fun ramble from Steve Guttenberg where he takes a look at the differences and similarities between Audiophiles and Music Lovers (with Record Collectors as a separate category).

Me? Well I'd say I'm in the middle: a Music Lover with Audiophile tendencies.

What are you?

I hate music. I can't believe I have to bloody well listen to the shite when I am trying to hear my equipment. Gets right on my tits.

Here's my favourite listens

White noise, pink noise. MLS noise and frequency log sweep

Bah Lightweight - try Reed's Metal Machine Music

As for me, music lover with modest audiofool tendencies, if it was a decision of £100 on a new bit, or new LP's I'd pretty much always choose the later.

I gotta say I'm sick of videos that ramble and take a LOT of time to simply get to the point.

Sod it. Life it to short!

Seeing as this is a full-fledged audiofool forum, how is one to answer the question without offending?
