Re: Antonio's 'back home' system
Thanks for the advice, I've already done plenty of swopping about with leads ect, I can switch everything off except the speakers, it is only the one speaker that I get the hum coming from.

Re: Antonio's 'back home' system
One speaker hum is unusual
I have had one speaker with a louder hum than the other related to poor plug in socket contacts- if I have a hum I always go to the power block then my turntable.
If it’s the speaker hope u have a warranty otherwise someone local to u (me) can open it if u are not confident

Re: Antonio's 'back home' system
I've got one arm/hand and vinyl is easy for me . In fact it's physio aiding the dexterity of my left hand
It should be a doddle for people with two arms/hands

Re: Antonio's 'back home' system
I'm taking my Quad 57's down to Leicester for repair on Monday, hopefully this will get my speakers up and running again. I'm still enjoying my Tuolihao's though.

If you're taking them to Andy Jones then they couldn''t be in better hands.
