Re: Sources for Courses
In my future there is the purchase of a streaming device . Absolutely no idea where to start looking. Under a grand is essential . I may just go with whatever people on here recommend.

You really don't need to spend anything close to that. A Tomanek LPSU (£80), a Pi4 and case and Ropiee. USB to your DAC. Less than £200 all in. In terms of SQ, unbeatable for the money IMHO.

Re: Sources for Courses
For under a grand you can partner a Sonore MicroRendu streamer with a Chord Mojo 2 DAC, which will take a lot of beating. The Mojo has a desktop mode which means it does not require recharging. It is also a quality portable headphone amplifier and has numerous filter settings. Both components are very small and tick the WAF box. The MicroRendu does require a 5v PS though.
Main System
NVA BMU, P90SA/A80s (latest spec), Cube 1s, TIS, TISC(LS7)
Sonore OpticalRendu, Chord Mscaler & Qutest, Sbooster PSs

DH Labs ethernet, BNC & USB cables, Farnells cat 8 ethernet cable
Second System
NVA P20/ A20, Cubettes, LS3, SSP, SC
Sonore MicroRendu, Chord Mojo 2 MCRU PSs, AQ Carbon USB cable & JB FMJ

Or if you want even more simplyfied version, put a dac hat into pi and then you can use rca connection to your amp.George Hincapie wrote: ↑Sun Sep 25, 2022 6:43 pmYou really don't need to spend anything close to that.
