Good news the eyesight is better.
Hopefully this only the start of improvements - you deserve it.

Wotcha, Col. I'm glad the eyesight's improving, mate.

I've just had my first Diabetic Eye Check and although there's no degeneration due to Diabetes, apparently I've got the beginnings of cataracts in both eyes. Apparently, so the nice fella told me, it's nothing to worry about ...YET! A trip to the opticians is in order because he bollocked me about not getting my eyes tested while he was at it. I've just started building a new computer, and putting teensy little screws into tiny little holes is telling me just how much my eyesight has nosedived in the last couple of years. Still, I'm 69 now, so I'm not doing bad I suppose. The problems you've had put my little niggles into perspective though.

Keep getting better, and don't let the bastards grind you down, mate.

Col, good to see your sight is getting better. I have poor vision in low light and do not drive at night. Am told that this is due to cataracts.

I also have diabetic eye screening although I am told that I am no longer diabetic after losing weight and getting more exercise since I retired six years ago.

Colin , how you doing . You probably know the only good thing about having a stroke is neuroplasticity . You can and do improve .

I currently have pins and needles in my right leg from my toes to my arse . Whilst it makes a change from the dull pain ive had in my leg for 5 years it is driving me mad .

Still better than the alternative .

Today my niece is giving birth to her first it will be a boy, by C section
So Maria is up the Hospital with her.
And she said I can't teach him to make fireworks, oh bugger. But I will teach him to make Xtal Sets and radios etc not Hi-fi (competition)

We will have to try and arrange it Colin.

I bet your an ace grandad all those electronics you could play with him. He's a lucky boy , a few electric shocks won't do him any harm

When Luther was six months old , he was electrocuted by a plug that was plugged in but the back of the plug was loose.🤣

Colin good to have you back. Sorry about not being allowed to teach your grandson to make fireworks. I’m sure you will find a way!

Congratulations grandpa!

My eyes must be getting better girls look good again not just blobs :P
And doing a complex pcb layout for a 3KW power box.
Well it will be able to take :-
Input 85 -400 DC- 400Hz
Out 85 - 400AC
Frequency out 50Hz, 60Hz, 400Hz all Xtal controlled and a play with knob 55Hz - 500Hz
Output Sin wave at 0.01% THD
Oh you can also have 3 phase.
Filtered and DC blocked.
It also use my SSR low noise patent, and cyclo filter cct
Input to Output Isolation over 3000VAC
Efficiency at full power will better than 85% and at 1KW 90% so it will get warm.

I suspect it will never go to market but it keeps me busy and after 4hrs on PC eyes give up but much better and fun.

When done for the brave I will put Gerbers and cct on my data forum site.
The watch for smoke
Safety check to 2500VAC
