I have taken both of my Sonos Connect units out of service here, with no intention of ever using them again.

Sound quality from a Pi-based streamer or Wiim Mini-style device is better anyway.

An impressive example of corporate suicide, to think that they pretty much had the in house streaming market cornered and they've binned it.
So happy I went the LMS route, much more fiddly, but ultimately more robust, and does high res, with no track limit.

Heads are rolling at Sonos and rightly so. Engineers warned of the problems with the new app and were ignored.

I still can't access my NAS and can only locate favourites on Qobuz via a search.
