I found the Yaqin phono stage, looks very nice, but couldn't find anything on a Fiio pre amp, is it a passive, could of course got Ant to sort one of them out, or even NVA :lol: Well done in showing your friend the light Latteman.

I had Naim Nait xs with and w/o flat cap and it was quit murky sounding compared to Heed Obelisk, that replaced it. NVA did take my musical delight even further.

Yaqin has been modified by Les Carpenter to a 3 valve machine- much improved dynamics.
Pre amp duties by Fiio E09k predominately a headphone amp with a pre out

Listening to the new Integrated and Cube prototypes, together, today. This system is the antidote to the screechy, farty noise that much mainstream kit seems to specialise in.
